Ebay seller claims they didnt recieve item and paid through paypal, am i responsible
Answer1:pay pal will open a dispute and they might get there money back. I would look at this as a very price lesson. Always mail it where they have to sign for it. That way you have proof that they got it. And dont send to other countrys. Customs are always crappy. I remember once from Canada I got a empty box.Customs opened it and never taped it shut. I was out $150.00
Answer2:Do you still have the postage receipt for the item?
Answer3:Hi! I sell on ebay and this happens abut once every 3 months. The first thing to do is find out whether you are being conned on not. Have they got 100% positive feedback and our their comments good. If they are bad you can you this as evidence. As they paid through pay pal they may start a pay pal claim or go through ebay resolution centre. Pay pal is your friend in this so dont take action against them its the buyers that are your opponents in this. Pay pal will try to get the facts and find the truth. I go straight to the resolution centre staff as usually at this point you cannot resolve the situation on your own. You have to state your case writing down as much information as you can. The time you posted it, any witnesses that saw you post it, if you got a receipt scan that and send it in. You can also state that they didnt want insurance on an expensive item and isnt that a bit strange...You just have to build up your case. I then contact the resolution centre every other day making sure they understand I am being wronged and that I will not let this matter rest. One time it took 3 months to get a case resolved but in the end I was proved right. You just have to stick with it.
