I want to have a yard sale to sell a bunch of unwanted stuff, but I never had one before.Any tips advice and things I should know?
      Answer1:Some cities have ordinances on garage sales, check with your city first.Advertise both in your paper and signs if permitted by your city.Have everything organzied and set out prior to the start of your sale.Have your prices reasonable.Have your items marked as to price.Have fun.
      Answer2:Organize your unwanted stuff in boxes.. If you have space such as a garage or basement.. Take some time to really organize the stuff in boxes to make shopping easier for your customers.Decide on how much you will sell each items for.Go to the dollar store.. they have labels you can stick on your stuff so people knows upfront how much things cost..Be reasonable with the prices.. Be ready for the customers to bargin with your prices.. So you might want to mark them up a few pennies more so to leave room for bargin.Make up some flyers and stick them every where in your neighborhood... grocery store, library, community centers, near streets corners etc.Include on your flyers, the address of the sale, the time of the sale example 10 - 2 pm.. ?? your choice.Nice to have some recyclable plastic bags for your customers..Make sure you have plenty of rest the night before.. or get some help from friends or family..It can be a fun and tiring experience as well.Enjoy your yard sale.
