a company who i supply goods to is in addministration owing ££££...and they simpaly carried on trading by changing there trading name and transfared ther morgage to some sort of pension fund, they where a limited company.can this be done & will ther depts now vanish.....?? thanks
      Answer1:i have heard of companies who do this and get away with it all the time so they do.they only have a share value in the company of £1 so that is all they can ever lose and when they do they just pick another name and start as a new company again reaping the tax benifits.they haave a very shrewd solicator so they do and most likely have take advantage of there investors by promising more returns than they will get.when things get sour they walk away with there pockets loaded.hope this helps a bit.
      Answer2:No. the debts is still there.first, the legal representative of these two companies are same guy or not? if they are the same, it is quite easy, you can sue the guy; if they are not, no problem you can sue the company whom you supply goods, the court will take care of it. they will track where its property goes.good luck!
