can i check from some where free weather i can a ccj or nt ? plus if i cant pay them what will happen ? i changed my adresses becoz due to some emergency i had to the country & i returned after 1 year soo i dont know weather i was send any letters etc or nt ?

      Answer2:You can get a free credit report from Experian - I get pop-ups on my pc most days.Or goto http://www.experian.co.uk/creditreporttv...You have to sign up for 30 days free trial. Just get your report and then cancel.Be aware that even if nothing shows the company or person concerned has 6 years to claim the money back.
      Answer3:You dont say who you owed the money to, but if it was a credit card or personal loan signed before 1 April 2007 you may not legally have to pay it at all. Visit www.bdebtfree.info for help. Even if you have a ccj this can be removed if it can be proved you didnt owe the company in the first place.
      Answer4:You would know as you would have been informed of the action being taken against you.If for some reason you dont then you need to get a copy of your credit record.Contact Experian or Equifax (google them) which are the two main credit agencies.It will cost you to get a copy but all the information is on their websites
