How much do I charge or How do I figure out what to charge

We have a business that helps busy business workers pursue small claims in local courts. We do all the locating, filing, mailing for them. But what figures to I need to include when charging. Cost of documents, shipping, certified mail, gas, time, profit, etc? How do you figure out the amount you should charge, I dont want to go overboard this service is available to anyone but not everyone has the time to do it. Hence, my business.
Answer1:charge per half hour you put into it. instead of trying to break everything downg/l
Answer2:The way I decided what to charge for my business was look at what other similar business were charging. Also how much money my customers were likely to be able to afford (ie I live in an affluent area so could charge more than someone in a less affluent area), and in the end I worked out how much I needed to live on. From that I worked out what I needed my total sales figures to be for a year to cover that living wage plus all business expenses, and divided it by week, then day, then hour to work out what my hourly rate should be. Im still charging a bit below it, because I thought it was a bit much, but Im in such demand I am putting my prices up for new customers in April.I hope that makes sense?
