how do you charge for the service? weekly basis? and how much? any info would be helpful. thanks Answer1:I assume you mean care for the elderly or disabled?Check out licensing in your area, of course. Some areas require specialized licensing. If youre providing drop-in service, then payment should be on a daily basis. If people are coming every day, monthly would be appropriate. How much? Depends on the services? If theres directed activities, charge more than if you simply are providing some space. Do you have a nurse on site? Will medication be dispensed? Answer2:You would need to set hourly, daily, weekly and monthly rates depending on your clients needs. Some clients would only need the service a couple hours for one or two days a week and others all day, every day. You also need to plan for the number of meals that would be provided, number of staff. Would you be providing pick up and drop off service? All of this would be figured into the rate, but you need to keep the rate reasonable so that people can afford to use the service.
