What are the pros/cons?
      Answer1:Auction style listings - PROS: -possibility of higher ending bid, making you more moneyAuction style listings - CONS:-higher fees due to all the bells and whistles youre pushed to add -higher fees due to having to re-list your item if it doesnt sell, or if the bidder doesnt pay-possibility of losing money if your item sells for only the opening bid, and you dont have it priced high enoughBuy It Now - PROS:-Listing ends immediately upon purchase, no relisting issues-Usually paid for immediately by buyerBuy It Now - CONS-Ebay is being flooded with Buy It Now items because they are focusing more on becoming a Buy It Now marketplace, rather than an auction-style marketplace.-No bidding war - your price is what you get - nothing more.Before you start listing, examine all the policies for selling on Ebay. You should be aware of the following, if you arent already:-you can no longer leave negative feedback for bidders/buyers, even if they dont pay you.-you can only accept Paypal or credit cards through a merchant account - no more paper payments. (Theres a small loophole that says if the bidder ASKS you to accept a paper payment, you can, but most people arent aware of this loophole in the policy and wont accept them.)-be aware of the fees involved in selling - they can quickly overwhelm your sales if you dont have a "good" sales month, and youll be behind the 8-ball before you know it.
