hi allis there any Advantage of having business under wifes name , If i do go ahead and start a business under my wifes name can she continue as a FT employee in an other company while i do the work in the new company in her name thanks
      Answer1:Yeah, when you catch her cheating you can spend a couple of months running it into the ground and walk away leaving her to be responsible for the mess...

      Answer3:You will end up being an employee of your wife and she will technically have to pay your wages and NI contributions. If you are joint home owners there is no advantage if the business goes bust. You would need to see an Accountant on this one.As a former joint business owner with my husband I cannot see an advantage here. If the business is in joint names as ours was, it helped a great deal with tax on profits as it was split between us.
