its more of like a scam
      Answer1:I think it is if they knowingly sold the product and knew it didnt work.
      Answer2:that doesnt even make sense, sounds like you got gipped.
      Answer3:Its stealing to me. I suggest that you ask for the manager. If this does not give you the result you are seeking, then I would then call their company headquarters (look it up on the internet), and speak with customer service. Trust me, I have had to do this more than once, and it worked each time. Good luck to you.P.S. You can also call the Better Business Bureau, but I would go for the customer service first.
