Im a college student and absolutely desperate for money right now and Im thinking about maybe cleaning houses on the side (I already have a 35 hr. a week part time job). I not going to charge much because Im not a professional but I figure I can do odd jobs around the house that the person doesnt want to do...im thinking $15 per hour? Too much? Too little? Ive never done anything like this so Im not entirely sure how to do this! Thanks

      Answer6:Why not try to find others who do the same thing you are proposing you do?That way you are marketable.If you overprice yourself, you may not find clients.If you underprice yourself, you hurt yourself in the end.
      Answer7:it depends how many hours if like 2 then its an alright price if 3 then it will be $45 for the 3 hours and yes thats kinda pricy.10-12 and hour is good

      Answer9:$15 an hour! If you were in MD Id pay you that in a second. I would say more like $30-50 an hour. Professionals charge like $50 an hour I think.

      Answer11:It really depends on where you live, prices vary a lot. Here in Missouri, you would get laughed at if you try to charge that much for an amateur job. I would look in the phone book to see if theres a company you can work for with a set income. My mom did this for a while, and she actually enjoyed it. Id say thats your best bet. Happy cleaning!
