Business mentoringanyone interested

Would anybody be interested in acting as a business mentor? I am interested in finding a person who preferably has considerable years experience with more than one kind of business and who is successful but who has also had tough times. Particularly welcome would be anyone who has actually had a business venture fail but who was able to start again and was then successful (I believe a lot of so-called entrepreneurs are just people who got lucky: they had the right thing at the right time in the right place...this is evidenced by the fact that often when they try to branch out into a second area of business, it bombs...but anyway, moving on...) I have had a business venture fail and have been running my present small business for 8+ years. I am confronted with serious problems and whilst I have a good idea about how to proceed I am finding it harder and harder to find the motivation to carry on and keep trying....I am hoping to find a mentor who can help out when my motivational energy is at its lowest! (Sounds like fun, eh!?) I cant offer much in return except gratitude.
Answer1:You can find many business mentors live below.
Answer2:Up until 3 years ago, I ran my own small business- fast food- and I know how hard it can be at times, especially when you REALLY feel that you need another viewpoint that you respect, and perhaps comes from a different direction or perspective. You do not state what type of business you are in, as that can govern the amount of "mentoring" you say you are seeking. Is there enough profit to make a partnership viable? A friend of mine and myself are considering a proposition where we split the set up costs 50/50, but as I will be the only one of us manually working in the business, his return will only be 15% of profit. The attractive thing about this for me is that of an "extra brain"- different ideas and visions. It might not work for you- you know more about you and your business than anyone else- but it is an option to possibly consider.Good luck to you- you deserve it!
Answer3:i will try to help u out as i had a very rough tim in business.. i am chartered accountant... done ma personal business and now working as chief accountat in UAE
Answer4:I work for a company called Tenable Solutions - we help businesses of any size with various different issues of running a business. This could be help financially - do you have problems such as creditors pressing etc? Or maybe the problems are people owe you money and you are having trouble claiming this or it could even been tax and VAT issues. We have an account and a solicitor in-house.If you wanted to meet with one of the associate partners (who have all run businesses large and small) they could meet with you and it wouldnt cost a penny for an hour of their time and advice (no obligation). Without knowing what the "serious problems" are that you mention it is difficult to summise whether we could help or not.You can give me (Lucy) a call on freephone 0800 4969594, i dont bite and im certainly not a scam artist (see other questions ive answered).Tenable Solutions is a really down-to-earth company and we speak in plain english.Hope this helps, Lucy xx
