I started an eBay auction for a Monopoly game and a few hours after I started the auction it was already at $38 that seemed weird so I looked at the bid history and one guy bid 4 times in a row, then a girl bid 9 times in a row incrementing her bid by $2 each time.Then one guy bid it $38 and then later that day he messages me and said I dont know how but somebody bid on this item I did not bid on this. I mean who puts 9 straight bids in with no competition? BTW, i was using a lot of bonus feature for the auction it cost me like $12 in all i added a lot of stuff to it..--Answer1:Thats not how ebay works... those bids were incremented by others willing to bid as much.
