Okay so my parents have been really upset today. Im 15 years old and they have told me that they were scammed on Ebay for a couple hundred dollars for my "Santa present". Its really sad because we have been having trouble financially and I know its really tough for them at the moment. They said they had paid the guy and he then closed the account on them. My dad is usually REALLY good with Ebay, but I guess not this time. Its getting close to Christmas and they feel horrible about me not having gifts to open on Christmas Day. I have no way of getting in touch with Ebay or Pay Pal because they wont tell me my gift.My question being is, can they get refunded? Can the guy who scammed them get in trouble? Thanks, and God Bless..--Answer1:They need to file a dispute with eBay and Paypal. Theyll probably get their money back eventually, but it may take several weeks. The best thing you can do for your parents right now is to convince them that youre mature enough to wait patiently for your present until this situation is resolved..--Answer2:well like they can create an open case on ebay against the person who sold the product to them. They better do it ASAP or else they would lose the cash totally, Ebay would refund them and it would tkae like 2-4 weeks
