Other than licenses, is there anything I would need to do to run a 39;second-hand39; store from my home

I was just wondering, we would take donations like Goodwill or a Thrift Store..--Answer1:i dont think so.but that is actually a very interesting idea :D.--Answer2:You also need to find out if it is zoned to house such a business..--Answer3:Most likely get a zoning variance in which all your neighbors would be allowed to testify for or against. Most localities will not allow retail/service operations out of an existing area zoned for homes due to traffic/parking concerns..--Answer4:Besides zoning, if youre going to be accepting and reselling donated clothing, you might consider whether accepting donations would mean you need to register as a charitable organization. The odds are pretty good that you will. (And if you didnt, it could be a struggle to explain to potential donors why they should donate when the proceeds are just going into your pocket rather than to a good cause.).--Answer5:And insurance.
