Im thinking of getting a gastation like my family like my uncles they have alot of franchises that they are running where they sell the gas for company but the goods like the chips tobacco and what not is there actual profit and they make alot of money of that and my question is that im 17 and im still looking for a job but in the mean while i was thinking that if i save up for maybe 3 or four years get alot of money and maybe a loan from the bank or something i can save up and open a franchises for my self and make alot of money and i dont care about the hard work because my dad own two of them him self and all but yea i see how much they make and its quite alot but they have to spend that money on a buch of other stuff so how should i start saving up and get my own one day and im at this age so?.........--Answer1:it takes a lot of money to start it so go to college get a good paying job after so you can get the money quicker and if the gas station thingdoesntt work out for some reason you have something to fall back on.--Answer2:3 to 4 years and a loan still isnt enough to open a franchise, unless you are making upwards of 250k/year...so go get a degree in management/entrepreneurship and it will be a lot easier.--Answer3:Like the others said, you should get a good education so you have a chance of getting a decent job and possibly having enough money to open your own business one day. I would also suggest talking to your uncles and dad. Maybe you can work for them during the summers and have them teach you how to run a business. This way if you do get the money to start your own youll have some experience.
