I want to start babysitting and I dont know where to start Can anyone help

i know I can do a course at the Red Cross. What do I do after that?.--Answer1:Find someone who has kids..--Answer2:Baby sitting you dont do anything you just show up and watch the kids.If you want to be a child care provider out of your home you need to find the information from your state. Each state has different requirements and your home will be inspected. You will need several things and they will provide you the list. These include fire extinguishers, first aid kits and the home needs to be child safe. In some states you will also have to take required classes and you will need to be CPR certified. Doing child care out of your home is a great way to watch your kids, stay home, and make money. My wife did this for 10 years..--Answer3:After that advertise in a local newspaper...tell everyone your interested in babysitting...that makes a great christmas present (in a xmas card write...also anytime you need a babysitter heres my number) But an ad in the paper is great...when ppl call they as k how much you charge i always charged $5 an hour per child. Thats the best going rate...they interview you and call you if they want to hire ya! :) Its simple if you love kids!.--Answer4:Build a client base. Here are some suggestions of how to do so...Do you go to church? Spread the word at your church that you are available to babysit.Volunteer to work with kids. Youll get experience dealing with kids and meet parents, too. I was an assistant coach for my little brothers swim team, and parents were always asking me if I was interested in babysitting for them.Ask your parents to spread the word amongst their colleagues of friends that you are available to babysit.Once you start babysitting, ask your clients to recommend you to their friends.
